At The Pottery Studio, we believe in community, creativity, and the shared energy that keeps our studio thriving. Our Energy Exchange Program is a way to give back and receive through a simple time-for-time trade.

If you have a few extra hours each month and would love to be more involved in the studio, we invite you to join our Energy Exchange team. In return for each hour you volunteer, you’ll receive one hour of studio time to use for your own pottery practice.

How It Works

• Earn: 1 hour of studio time for every 1 hour worked.
• Validity: Studio time must be used within 30 days of earning it.
• Supplies: Glaze use is included, but clay and firings are not and are billed at regular studio rates.
• Tasks: Tasks vary weekly (reclaiming clay, cleaning tools, glazing workshop pieces, prepping slabs, or general maintenance).
• Accountability: Please check in with staff when you arrive and before you leave to record your hours.
• Booking: All shifts must be booked in advance through the Energy Exchange booking page.

Spots in the program are limited, and participation is by approval. Once accepted, you’ll receive a private link with access to the bookable tasks and available times.
