Owner / Hand-building Instructor
Meg Crow
Hi, I’m Meg - owner of The Pottery Studio! I'm a clay-loving hand-builder who’s all about working with slabs. For the past few years, I’ve been shaping clay into functional, feel-good pieces. I run hand-building classes and workshops, and teaching has totally stolen my heart. Let’s get muddy and make some magic together!

Wheel Instructor
Claudia Cicciarella
Claudia first got her hands muddy about 15 years ago. It wasn’t until she joined our studio that her love for the wheel really took shape! When she’s not crafting, Claudia is walking her dogs, raising her step-kids, or planning her wedding. Pottery is her way to recentre, recharge, and bring her creative energy to life.

Wheel Instructor
Mandy Chan-Visser
After graduating from TMU, Mandy pivoted into marketing before finding her way to ceramics. In her work, she explores blurring the division between beauty and ugliness, rendering familiar, functional objects into the impractical and absurd. As an instructor, Mandy aspires to make creativity and the arts accessible to all.

Wheel & Hand-building Instructor
Marlene Sutton
I’ve been working with clay for ten years using techniques from throwing to life-like sculpting. I draw inspiration from nature and the cycle of life. When I’m not in the studio, you can find me teaching Kindergarten, baking, and sewing. I’m delighted to be teaching both hand building and wheel throwing classes here!
