Studio Policies and Waiver
Welcome to our pottery classes! Please review our studio policies and liability waiver carefully before completing your booking.
Safety Requirements
-
Footwear & Attire: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Long hair must be tied back. We recommend bringing a towel or apron. Students arriving in improper footwear will not be permitted to use the pottery wheels for safety reasons.
-
Liability: By registering, you understand that pottery involves operating heavy equipment, clay, and sharp tools. You assume all risk of injury and agree that The Pottery Studio is not liable for accidents or property damage, including those caused by improper footwear or attire.
Class, Clay & Media Policies
-
Photo & Social Media Release: By participating in classes or workshops at The Pottery Studio, you grant permission for the studio to take and use photos or videos of you, your likeness, and your work in class for promotional and social media purposes (such as Instagram, Facebook, and our website).
-
Student Clay Limits: 10 lbs of clay is included with your class registration. If you exceed this amount, you agree to purchase additional clay from the studio.
-
Make-ups: There are no make-ups for multi-week or single-session classes. If you miss a class, a technician will trim/glaze your work.
-
Tracking & Pick-Up: You agree to scan the QR code in the studio before leaving to track your work. The studio does not send notices or emails when items are ready for pickup. Items left 30 days past the completion date on the "ClayTracker" page are placed in the "Adopt a Pot" box.
Cancelation & Refund Policies Due to limited seating and material preparation, class and workshop bookings are non-refundable. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our studio cancellation and refund policies.
